Kathmandu. Kathmandu. Mahottari: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has inaugurated a bridge over the Bighi River at Matihani Municipality-8 in Mahottari district.

Prime Minister Oli, who arrived at Matihani in Mahottari, unveiled the foundation stone of the bridge constructed on the Bighi River and inaugurated the bridge.

With the construction of the bridge connecting Matihani of Mahottari with Janakpur, the compulsion of the locals has been removed from the risky journey of the old bridge.

The new Kalika Construction Pvt Ltd, Bharatpur Chitwan, has constructed the bridge at a cost of Rs 75.78 million.
