5 highways completely blocked due to floods and landslides

Kathmandu. Five highways have been completely blocked due to floods and landslides in different parts of the country. According to Nepal Police, six roads have been operated unilaterally due to the landslide.

According to Nepal Police, TAG_OPEN_div_21 the Koshi Highway at Barun of Bhotkhola Rural Municipality-4 in Sankhuwasabha district has been completely blocked. Rasuwa: A bridge connecting Nepal and China at Gosainkunda rural municipality-2 in Rasuwa district has been completely obstructed.

Similarly, TAG_OPEN_div_19 beni-Jomsom road section at Thasang rural municipality, Ghoptebhir in Mustang district has been completely obstructed. Similarly, jajarkot Dolpa Bheri corridor road section at Athabiskot municipality-6, Rijigar in Rukum West district has been completely obstructed.

TAG_OPEN_div_17 The Karnali Corridor at Shiva Temple in Simikot Rural Municipality-6 of Humla district has been completely obstructed.  Kathmandu: The Kathmandu-Nuwakot road section at Tokha Municipality-2 in Kathmandu district has been restored one-way. Baglung: The Kaliganki Corridor at Dablang of Baglung Municipality-10 in Baglung district has been restored one-way.

Nawalparasi TAG_OPEN_div_15: Kaliganki Corridor at Tarangkhola of Gaindakot Rural Municipality-3 in Nawalparasi district has been restored one-way. Meanwhile, the alternative route of Lamakhet Beni Maldhunga road in Jaljala rural municipality-4 of Parbat district has been restored, while the mid-hill highway at Vaple of Modi rural municipality-5 in Parbat district has been restored one-way.

Martyr’s Highway at Gramjim of Same Parivartan Rural Municipality in Rolpa district has been restored one-way while Shahid Highway at Dhamachor of Same Parivartan Rural Municipality-5 in Rolpa district has been restored one-way
