In the last 50 years, dengue cases in the world have increased by 30 times. He said that a search and destruction program is being carried out by the health office and local level health workers in every district.

Directorate’s officer Khatri urged people to wear full-sleeved or full-sleeved clothes as they are infected with dengue if bitten by a aedes aegypti mosquito in the afternoon. “The only way to prevent dengue is to avoid mosquito bites,” he said, adding, “Keeping the house clean and removing water-logging utensils can also prevent the Aedes mosquito.” ’

According to him, the symptoms of dengue include severe body pain, loss of food, diarrhea, high fever, joints and muscles, eye lumps, headache, red body sickness, nausea or vomiting. On the basis of these symptoms, doctors will check and treat dengue patients through kits, he said.
