Kathmandu. Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) Executive Director Hitendra Dev Shakya has reached Janakpur to enquire about the installation of deep boring. After reaching Janakpur in Madhes province, he came to know about the ‘deep boring installation’.

They have also monitored the technical problems in the power supply due to the installation of deep boring. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has announced to install 500 deep borewells in the drought-hit Madhes a few days ago.

NeA’s Distribution and Customer Service Directorate’s Deputy Executive Director Longevity Kumar Shrestha also informed that the new transformer charge is underway after completing the installation of 24 MW electricity at Hardi in eastern Chitwan.

He said that after the transformer is charged, the work of shifting the load will be completed on Monday itself and he is hopeful that regular power supply will be available from today itself.
