Kathmandu. A meeting of five parliamentary committees under the federal parliament is being held today. International Relations and Tourism Committee, Agriculture Cooperative and Natural Resources Committee, Education, Health and Information Technology Committee, Public Accounts Committee, Legislation Management Committee and Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee are meeting.

The International Relations and Tourism Committee is scheduled to hold discussions with the lawmakers who have registered amendments to the ‘Nepal Air Service Authority Bill, 2081 BS’. The Committee on Agricultural Cooperatives and Natural Resources is scheduled to hold discussions with the amending lawmakers regarding the amendments made in the ‘Bill to amend some Nepal Acts related to land, 2082 BS’. The Education, Health and Information Technology Committee is scheduled to hold discussions with stakeholders regarding the Media Council Bill, 2080 BS.

The accounts committee is also scheduled to hold discussions with all secretaries of the government in the presence of deputy prime minister and finance minister. The Legislative Management Committee is scheduled to discuss the ‘National Forensic Science Laboratory (Establishment and Operation) Bill, 2081 BS’ clause-wise. The Delegated Legislative Committee for Public Policy is scheduled to hold discussions with the Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs.
