Siraha. Drinking water treatment industries operating in Lahan have been taken to task. In a joint inspection led by the Area Administration Office on Tuesday, four industries were fined Rs 5,000 each.

Administrative Officer at the Area Administration Office, Santosh Raya, informed that action has been taken against Sita Mineral Water Industry and Friends International Nepal of Lahan-1, KB and Sons Nepal of Lahan-3 and KL Mineral Water of Dhangadhi mai-10.

Representatives of Lahan Municipality, Food Technology and Quality Control Division Office, Rajbiraj and Domestic and Small Industries Office were part of the joint monitoring team.
