Myagdi. Beni Hospital has started treatment services for senior citizens at a subsidized rate. Subsidized treatment services have been started as per the government’s policy to provide health services to senior citizens in a smooth manner.

Senior citizens in the age group of 60 to 69 years will get 50 percent discount on the treatment services prescribed by the hospital. Dil Kumari Khatri, chairperson of the hospital management committee, said that arrangements have been made to provide 75 percent discount to those aged between 70 and 79 years.

Most of the services are free for senior citizens above 80 years of age. More than 60,000 patients receive services from the hospital annually.
