Nuwakot. Bhotekoshi has been experiencing severe flood since 3.00 am today. The water level of Trishuli has increased rapidly due to floods. The local administrations of Rasuwa and Nuwakat have urged the people of the coastal areas to remain alert.

Assistant Chief District Officer of Nuwakot, Krishna Prasad Humagain, said that the flood has caused erosion in Parebesi, Vetrawati, Trishuli and Devighat areas of the district. The administration has urged people to stay safe as the floods can also enter the settlements. Nepal Police and Armed Police Force personnel have requested the family members living near the river to stay in a safe place.

Nuwakot: The station of trishuli-Kathmandu transmission line at Kispang rural municipality-5 in Nuwakot has been damaged due to floods.
