Rasuwa. Rasuwagadhi: The Syafrubensi Rasuwagadhi road has been damaged due to flooding in the Lhende rivulet located on the Nepal-China border last night. Work has already begun to open the closed road.
According to Chief District Officer Arjun Poudel, the movement of all types of vehicles, big and small, has been completely stopped due to the damage caused by the river erosion and the soil of the Timure dry port, which was saved from the flood on July 15, due to the flood in the Lhenda rivulet this morning.
He also urged the people living along the banks of the river to take precautions against frequent floods due to heavy rainfall in the Chinese territory.
CDO Poudel also informed that there was no loss of life and property except the road structure due to last night’s flood. It was informed in the coastal area last night that the water level in trishuli river is increasing due to the flood of Lhende rivulet.
