Kathmandu. Seven different highways of the country have been completely blocked due to floods and landslides while five have come into operation unilaterally.

According to Nepal Police, the Koshi Highway at Bhotekhola Rural Municipality-4 in Sankhuwasabha district has been completely obstructed. Similarly, the bridge connecting Nepal and China at Gosaikunda Rural Municipality-2 in Rasuwa district has been completely obstructed while the Pasang Lhamu road section of Gosaikunda Rural Municipality-2, 3 of the same district has been completely obstructed.

According to police, the Araniko Highway at Kodar of Bhotekoshi Rural Municipality-2 in Sindhupalchowk district, Kaligandaki of Baglung Municipality-10, Dablang of Baglung district and Jajarkot Dolpa Bheri Corridor road section of Rijigar of Athabiskot Municipality-6 in Rukum West district have been completely obstructed. The Bans Ghorahi Rukum Shaheed Highway has been completely blocked at Parivartan Rural Municipality-5 in the same district.

Similarly, Kaligandaki at Tarangkhola of Gaidakot Municipality-3 in Nawalparasi district has become one-way smooth. Mustang: The Beni Jomsom road section at Thasang Rural Municipality-4, Ghoptebhir in Mustang district has become one-way smooth while the Prithvi Highway section at Bandipur Rural Municipality-4, Chunpahara in Tanhu district has been smoothed one-way. Rolpa District Parivartan Rural Municipality-5, Gramjim and Dhamarchor Shaheed Highway have become one-way smooth.
