Kathmandu. Kalimati Fruit and Vegetable Market Development Committee has fixed the wholesale price of agricultural produce for today. According to the committee, the maximum wholesale price of vegetables and fruits has been fixed.
Cauliflower big (Nepali) 60 per kg, cauliflower small (local) 30 per kg, cauliflower small (tunnel) 40 per kg, potato red (Indian) 30 kg, potato red (Indian) 40 kg, potato red (mude) 40 kg, potato white 32 kg, onion dried (Indian) 38 kg, carrot (local) 110 kg, carrot (terai) 90 per kg, banda (local) 30 kg, cowli local 60 kg. The price of red radish has been fixed at Rs 45 per kg, white radish (hybrid) at Rs 35 per kg, bhanta lamb at Rs 20 per kg, bhanta dallo at Rs 40 per kg, tane bodi at Rs 60 per kg and maize at Rs 60 per kg.
Similarly, ghee beans (local) at Rs 55 per kg, ghee beans (hybrid) at Rs 50 per kg, taate beans at Rs 60 per kg, bhatmas cosa at Rs 110 per kg, bitter bitter gourd at Rs 20 per kg, gourd at Rs 30 per kg, parbar (local) at Rs 60 per kg, parbar (Tarai) at Rs 60 per kg, chichindo at Rs 25 per kg, ghiraula at Rs 40 per kg, pratiguni at Rs 60 per kg, farsi cooked at Rs 50 per kg, farsi green (50 per kg). The price of turnip has been fixed at Rs 70 per kg and okra at Rs 55 per kg.
Similarly, sakharkhand has been fixed at Rs 80 per kg, pindalu at Rs 70 per kg, skus at Rs 50 per kg, rayosag at Rs 40 per kg, spinach at Rs 45 per kg, mustard greens at Rs 50 per kg, green onions at Rs 120 per kg, mushroom (kanya) at Rs 380 per kg, curry at Rs 300 per kg and niguro at Rs 90 per kg.
The price of broccoli has been fixed at Rs 180 per kg, beetroot at Rs 80 per kg, sajivan at Rs 200 per kg, red banda at Rs 250 per kg, jiri greens at Rs 100 per kg, celery at Rs 120 per kg, parsley at Rs 120 per kg, sauf greens at Rs 180 per kg, mint at Rs 200 per kg, tamarind at Rs 120 per kg, tofu at Rs 120 per kg and gundak at Rs 350 per kg.
The committee has recommended Rs 250 per kg of apple (jhole), Rs 350 per kg of apple (fuji), Rs 140 per kg of banana, Rs 150 per kg of lemon, Rs 360 per kg of pomegranate, Rs 185 per kg of mango (maldah), Rs 185 per kg of mango (dashahari), Rs 150 per kg of mango (chosa), Rs 350 per kg of orange (Indian), Rs 80 per kg of watermelon, Rs 160 per kg of seasonal, Rs 250 per kg of junar, Rs 250 per kg of maize. Pear (local) has been fixed at Rs 65 per kg, pear (Chinese) at Rs 250 per kg, nuts (Indian) at Rs 100 per kg, mango at Rs 250 per kg, lapsi at Rs 50 per kg and avocado at Rs 650 per kg.
Similarly, ginger rs 90 per kg, chilli dried at Rs 380 per kg, chilli green at Rs 60 per kg, chilli green (bullet) at Rs 55 per kg, chilli green machhe at Rs 65 per kg, chilli akbare at Rs 220 per kg, lamb chili at Rs 65 per kg, garlic green at Rs 120 per kg, green coriander at Rs 400 per kg, garlic dried (Chinese) at Rs 200 per kg, garlic dried (Nepali) at Rs 160 per kg, dried at Rs 180 per kg. The price of fresh fish (rahu) has been fixed at Rs 330 per kg, fresh fish at Rs 300 per kg, fresh fish at Rs 240 per kg, raja mushroom at Rs 300 per kg and Sitake mushroom at Rs 1,000 per kg.
