Kathmandu. Kathmandu: President Ram Chandra Poudel has visited the heritage sites in Basantapur area listed in the World Heritage List of Kathmandu.

He visited the Hanumandhoka Durbar Museum along with first lady Sabita Poudel at Basantapur area today.

Secretary at the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Civil Aviation Hari Prasad Mainali, Director General of the Department of Archaeology Saubhagya Pradhananga and Executive Director of Hanumandhoka Durbar Museum Development Committee Kaziman Pyakurel, among others, welcomed President Poudel at the Durbar Square area.

On the occasion, President Poudel visited Kalabhairav, Taleju Temple, Nine-Storey Palace, Nasal Chowk, Mulchowk and Trishul Chowk in Hanumandhoka Durbar Square.

House of Representatives member Sapana Rajbhandari, State Assembly member Shailendra Bajracharya, ward chairs of different wards of Kathmandu Metropolitan City were present on the occasion.
