Gulmi. Landslides have blocked roads at four places in Gulmi, including three sections of the Kaligandaki Corridor.

Information Officer at the District Police Office, Ganga Bahadur Saru, said that the road has been completely blocked at Gargare, Rakse and Kanauta of Kaligandaki Rural Municipality-1, 2 and 3 since this morning.

Similarly, Dahare Khola of Satyawati Rural Municipality-6, Tallaphant of Chandrakot Rural Municipality-8 and Ridi-Khajryang road have also been obstructed.

Light to moderate rainfall has been taking place in Gulmi and adjoining areas for the past three days. The water level along the Kaligandaki river has been rising due to incessant rainfall. The District Administration Office has urged the people of the coastal areas to remain alert.
