Surkhet. A meeting of the Karnali State Council of Ministers held this morning decided to recommend to end the sixth session of the second term of the State Assembly from 12 pm today.

The meeting also decided to appoint Dholak Raj Dhakal, secretary at the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers, as secretary at the Ministry of Social Development, according to state government spokesperson Binod Kumar Shah.

Similarly, it has also been decided to recommend to the federal government to designate the administrative center of Junichande rural municipality of Jajarkot district at Ward No. 4 Luhadaha as per the Supreme Court’s order of May 20, 2082.

The meeting also decided to approve the ‘Journalism Award Distribution Procedure- 2082 BS’. The meeting also decided to form a Karnali Province Monitoring Committee under the coordination of the Secretary of the Governance Reforms Division under the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers to monitor whether the information officer has been implemented in the state government offices or not, spokesperson Shah said.
