Baitadi. Baitadi: The Jaya Prithvi Highway connecting Baitadi and Bajhang has been obstructed since this morning due to landslide triggered by incessant rainfall. Spokesperson at the District Police Office, Balram Pandey, said the highway has been obstructed due to landslide at Ramilapur of Sigas rural municipality-9.

Vehicular movement has come to a complete halt due to the blockade of the highway. Passengers have been stranded in the middle of the road due to the suspension of vehicular movement. The Jaya Prithvi Highway has been obstructed from time to time due to landslides. Spokesperson Pandey said that efforts are being made to open the obstructed highway.
