Myagdi. Myagdi: The Myagdi section of the Beni-Jomsom road connecting mustang with the national highway through the northern part of myagdi has been obstructed since this morning.

According to the District Traffic Police Office, Myagdi, the road has been obstructed due to landslides at Raghuganga rural municipality-2, Baisari, Majkharka, Annapurna rural municipality-3, Sukebagar and Kavrebhir.

Assistant Sub-Inspector Bishal Darji, in-charge of the office, said efforts were underway to open the road by mobilizing dozers of the Roads Department and the contractors of the Beni-Jomsom-Korala road project.

He said that it was difficult to open the road due to continuous landslides and the rain has not stopped. Direct transport links between Mustang district and Annapurna Rural Municipality of Myagdi have been cut off due to the road blockade. The Pokhara-Jomsom flight service has been suspended due to inclement weather. Locals as well as tourists visiting and returning to Mustang have been affected.
