PM draws attention to direct flights between Nepalgunj and New Delhi

Kathmandu. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has drawn the attention of the people’s representatives of Banke and Bardiya and industrialists and businessmen for direct flights from Nepalgunj to New Delhi.

During the meeting held at the Prime Minister’s official residence, Baluwatar, it was demanded to operate nepalgunj-New Delhi direct air service for the expansion of air facilities and commercial connectivity in 32 districts of western Nepal as necessary infrastructure has been developed at Nepalgunj Airport.

After receiving the demand letter, PM Oli said that he was positive for this and assured that discussions would be held with the Indian government. He urged the government to take interest in further expansion of nepalgunj airport runway and land conservation works.
