Kathmandu. The meeting of the House of Representatives is taking place at the Federal Parliament Building, New Baneshwor this afternoon.

In today’s meeting, the concerned ministers are scheduled to answer oral questions related to the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Ministry of Health and Population and Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation.

Similarly, Minister for Communications and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung will present a proposal seeking consideration of the Information Technology and Cyber Security Bill, 2082 BS.

Four parliamentary committees are meeting today. As per the schedule, a meeting of the Finance Committee, Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee, Agriculture Cooperative s and Natural Resources Committee, Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee and Federalism Empowerment and National Concern Committee is being held today.

The meeting of the Finance Committee is scheduled to discuss clause-wise on the ‘Bill made to provide for the mobilization of alternative development finance’. The Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee is scheduled to hold discussions with the Home Minister on the incident that took place in Kailali jail on August 15 and its impact and ways to solve the problem.

The Committee on Agricultural Cooperatives and Natural Resources is scheduled to hold discussions on the ‘Bill to amend some Nepal Acts related to land, 2082 BS’.

Similarly, the Federalism Empowerment and National Concern Committee is scheduled to discuss the basic aspects included in the 62nd report of the Auditor General.
