Bhimdutta. The flow of water in the Mahakali River has increased due to incessant rain since last night in the Far-West. According to the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, the operation of large vehicles has been banned on the bridge of Sharda Barrage due to the increase in water flow.
Till 11 am today, the flow of water has been recorded at 126,712 cusecs. Sagar Bohara, spokesperson of the District Police, said the flow of water could increase further as it was raining. According to him, the movement of four-wheelers has been banned on the Banbasa bridge on the Nepal-India border. According to the police, the movement of two-wheelers and people is going on.
