Goods worth Rs 4.89 million seized in Parsa

Birgunj. Parsa: The Armed Police Force Nepal Parsa has seized goods worth Rs 4,891,275 including a Brezza vehicle.

Birgunj: A team deputed from Birgunj has submitted the vehicle (BR 01FE 7199) en route to Raxaul from Ghantaghar chowk of Birgunj Metropolitan City-9 to birgunj customs office after it could not find the required documents.

According to the Armed Police Force, the cost of the vehicle is estimated at Rs 3 million. Information Officer of Armed Police Force Nepal and Deputy Superintendent of Armed Police Krishna Singh Pujara said that the Armed Police Force (APF) has seized clothes, butter and spare parts of vehicle engines worth Rs 1.569 million.

Similarly, the Armed Police Force (APF) has seized various goods and liquor worth Rs 170,885 from different points of Birgunj-16 and handed them over to the Customs Office.

A team deputed from the proposed Border Security Unit Alou has seized goods worth Rs 87,420 from Birgunj Metropolitan City-19, Barwa. Similarly, clothes and groceries worth Rs 63,970 were seized from Chapkaia and handed over to birgunj customs office for necessary action.
