Gulmi. The Tamghas-Ridi road section of Gulmi along the Madanbhandari Highway has been obstructed due to landslides triggered by rain.

According to the District Police Office, Gulmi, the road has been obstructed since this morning due to landslide at Bhangari Khola of Resunga Municipality-13.

Information Officer at the District Police Office, Gulmi, Ganga Bahadur Saru, informed that teams of Nepal Police and Armed Police Force have been mobilized to open the road near the district headquarters Tamghas.

Resunga Municipality mayor Khildhwaj Panthi said that the municipality has already sent equipment to remove the landslide on the road.

Vehicles coming out of the district headquarters Tamghas and entering the district headquarters have been stopped on the way due to the road blockade. According to the police, work is underway to open the blocked road.
