Rajbiraj. Rajbiraj: Police have arrested a youth from Rajbiraj Airport with a large amount of foreign currency. The arrestees have been identified as Mohammad Khurshid Alam, 33, of Khadak Municipality-11 in Saptari.

According to Superintendent of Police Gautam Kumar KC, alam, who was travelling from Rajbiraj to Kathmandu in a Buddha Air plane, was arrested at the airport during investigation.

Alam has been arrested after failing to prove the legality of the money. Preparations are underway to hand him over to the Inland Revenue Office, Itahari, sp KC said.
