Darchula. The Khalanga-Gokuleshwor section of the Mahakali Highway has been obstructed due to landslide. The highway has been obstructed due to landslide triggered by heavy rainfall at Ranebas area of Malikarjun rural municipality-3 this morning.
Police Inspector at the District Police Office, Darchula, Chhatra Bahadur Rawat, informed that vehicular movement has come to a complete halt due to the blockade of the highway. Chief District Officer Anil Poudel said equipment has been ordered from Khalanga to clear the blocked road.
