Rasuwa. Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning of Bagmati Province, Prabhat Lama, said that the government would work in favour of the people of the district by providing budget to the schemes and programmes chosen by the people.
Leader Lama, who arrived in his home district for the first time after being appointed as the Finance Minister, expressed his commitment to do everything possible as per the sentiments and wishes of the Rasuwa people, who are lagging behind in terms of education, health and development.
He stressed the need for the people of the district to be united towards improving the living standard of the common people, including development works, giving priority to the schemes and programmes prepared keeping the people at the centre.
Rasuwa residents welcomed and felicitated newly appointed Minister Lama, who will represent Rasuwa district for a second term in bagmati state assembly, and demanded necessary budget provision for various development projects.
According to Nepali Congress district president Pemba Tshering Tamang, the local people had requested Minister Lama to repair and improve the road, complete the integrated customs office building at Rasuwagadhi at the earliest, repair the Gosainkunda religious route with maintenance, establish agriculture and health, school and construct apple chilling center building.
Similarly, minister Lama, who is in the role of state finance minister, has been requested to address the demands related to the day-to-day life of the people, building necessary infrastructures at Gosainkunda and constructing the goreto-ghodeto road of various places in Rasuwa district, which is known as a religious, cultural and geographical tourist destination, according to NC president Tamang.
