Kaski. Pokhara: At least 23 people were injured when a microbus met with an accident at Madkelna in Arwa of Pokhara-13 this morning.

Twenty-three people, including the driver, were injured when the bus (Ga 1 Kha 4027) en route to Kahunkhola from Manideep of Arwa met with an accident at Madkelna. According to ravi Baral, a local, the bus was heading towards Kahunkhola when it hit the wall on the right side of the road.

All the injured were taken to Western Regional Hospital under Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences for treatment. Tanka Prasad Devkota and Jamuna Baral are in moderate condition while the condition of all the injured is normal, according to The Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences, Pokhara.

Eleven of the injured have returned home after treatment. The discharged drivers are Tej Bahadur Magar, 42, Chandra Bahadur Ale, 46, Simran Baral, 15, Manmaya Sunar, 44, Kabita Pandey, 25, Angel Pariyar, 10, Nanu Maya Pariyar, 40, Rachna Baral, 23, Divyan Baral, 6, Sharad Baral, 46, and Padam Raj Baral, 70.

The injured are Anjali Pariyar, 20, Anita Sapkota, 32, Ambika Dhakal, 65, Sushma Pariyar, 30, Supriya Pariyar, 9, Manshobha Pariyar, 65, Kopila Baral, 52, Tanka Prasad Devkota, 62, Madhu Adhikari, 32, Chandra Parajuli, 37, Parbati Baral, 34, and Jamuna Baral, 55.
