Home prepares to open 23 new area administration offices to make service delivery easier and easier

Kathmandu. Kathmandu: The government has decided to set up new area administration offices in 23 districts to ease service delivery. A meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Monday sent a proposal to the Administration Committee of the Council of Ministers regarding the establishment of area administration offices in 23 districts.

The administration committee will hold necessary discussions and move forward for implementation. A large number of area administration offices are being set up at the same time to make service delivery easier and easier from the District Administration Office and Area Administration Office under the Ministry of Home Affairs.

According to the Ministry, area administration is being established in 23 districts to address the disparity between population, geographical accessibility and accessibility of the areas to be provided. The Ministry of Home Affairs plans to set up more area administration offices in the coming days. Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak, who has been giving priority to policy and legal reforms, laid special emphasis on easy and easy service delivery to the citizens.
