Kathmandu. Devotees have been thronging Shiva temples across the country, including Pashupatinath, since this morning on the occasion of Hartalika Teej. The Pashupati Area Development Trust (PADT) has made arrangements for the devotees to have easy darshan of lord Pashupatinath. The four gates of pashupatinath temple have been opened since 3:00 am, said Acting Member Secretary of the Trust Subhas Chandra Joshi.
Some of the devotees had reached the Pashupatinath area before 3:00 am and had already queued up to pay obeisance. He said that so far, there is a situation to return after seeing in 15 to 20 minutes sitting in the queue. Around 3,000 security personnel have been deployed in the Pashupati area today to manage the fair.
Arrangements have been made to enter the Pashupatinath temple from the outer part of the Pashupatinath area. Arrangements have been made to keep a net and have darshan from outside even during the Shri Yantra Puja performed in the temple of Shri Pashupatinath. Information Officer of the Trust, Anita Bhattal, said that arrangements have been made so that the devotees leave after entering the main temple and visiting the main idol.
