Kathmandu. Devotees throng surya binayak temple on Ganesh Chaturthi. Devotees thronged Ganesh temples across the country today on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi festival, which is celebrated by worshiping Lord Ganesha.
Celebrated every year on the day of Bhadra Shukla Chaturthi, this festival is based on the classical belief that Lord Ganesha was born on the day of Bhadra Shukla Chaturthi in satyayug. On this occasion, the birth anniversary of Ganesh is being celebrated by performing special pujas at Ashok Binayak, Chandrabinayak, Suryabinayak, Kamalbinayak, Kamaladi Ganesh and other Ganesh temples across the country.
Ganesha, son of Shiva Parvati, has the right to worship in any religious work. Today, there is a classical belief to observe the fast of Haritalika Teej and observe the fast of Ganesha.
