Jumla. The Surkhet-Jumla section of the Karnali Highway has been obstructed due to the collapse of the road. The highway has been completely blocked after the road caved in at Kalekhola in Kalikot.

Chief of the Road Division Office, Dipendra Kumar Chaudhary, told RSS that necessary human resources including equipment have been mobilized for the maintenance of the road after receiving information about the collapse last night. He urged all concerned to use the alternative route as it would take some time to complete the maintenance work.
