Sankhuwasabha. Joint Secretary Srijana Thapaliya has taken charge as the Chief District Officer (CDO) of Sankhuwasabha. She is the first woman CDO in the history of the district.

Earlier, he was serving at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar and took charge as the 48th Chief District Officer here.

Talking to media persons here today, Thapaliya shared that her experience in the civil service would be used for the upgradation of Sankhuwasabha. “I will fulfill my assigned responsibilities in collaboration with leaders of all political parties, intellectuals and civil society in the district within the scope of the specified act and law,” he said. ’
