Three arrested for forging documents

Kathmandu. Police have arrested three persons for their alleged involvement in making fake documents.

The arrestees have been identified as Achal Lamichhane, 45, of Gorkha Shaheed Lakhan Rural Municipality-4 and currently residing in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-3, Sandesh Gautam, 29, of Birendranagar Municipality-7, Surkhet and Sabin Ale Magar, 21, of Kavrepalanchowk Roshi Rural Municipality-3.

“A police team deputed from samakhushi town planning in Kathmandu arrested Achal Lamichhane on the basis of information that he was making fake documents including SEE, police report, ‘appearance letter’ of working in various hotels and institutions,” he said. ’

Spokesperson Bohara said that during the search, documents of various government and non-government offices were found in the computer in the shop, the computer was recovered and three of them were taken into custody and the Kathmandu District Court today extended the remand for five days.

Two arrested for duping more than 5 million on the pretext of sending them abroad

Police have arrested two persons on the charge of duping people of Rs 5 million on the pretext of sending them to Serbia and Russia for foreign employment.

Kartik Kumar Chaudhary, 26, of Bara Kolhavi Municipality-4 and Manoj Dahal, 28, of Ilam Municipality-1 have been arrested on the charge of cheating, said Information Officer at the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office and Superintendent of Police Kazi Kumar Acharya.

“Chaudhary was arrested on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victim that he had taken Rs 4.2 million on the pretext of sending him to Serbia and Rs 850,000 on the pretext of sending him to Russia,” he said. Information Officer Acharya said that both of them have been sent to the Department of Foreign Employment in Tahachal for necessary investigation and action.
