Kathmandu. The Meteorological Forecasting Division has said that the low pressure line of the monsoon is located in the south of the normal place and it will be generally cloudy throughout the country this afternoon. Light to moderate rain is likely to occur at a few places of the hilly region and Tarai region including Lumbini Province.

Similarly, it will be generally cloudy in the hilly regions of the country including Koshi and Madhes provinces tonight and partly cloudy in the rest of the country. Light to moderate rain is likely to occur at a few places of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and at a few places of the hilly regions of other provinces. Heavy rainfall is likely to occur at one or two places of the hilly regions of Koshi, Tarai and Bagmati provinces.

The Division has urged all to remain alert and make preparations, predicting that there is a risk of landslides and landslides of rain, the water level in big and small rivers and rivulets may rise and the transport sector may be affected.
