Kathmandu. Kathmandu: Nepal Police has seized Rs 42.55 million in cash, 9.837.96 grams of gold and 3.218.492 grams of silver from town planning at Gongbu of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-26.
According to District Police Range, Kathmandu Spokesperson and Superintendent of Police Apil Raj Bohara, 76-year-old Binod Kumar Shrestha, a resident of Gorkha Bus Park in Gorkha Municipality-6 in Gorkha district and currently residing in Samakoshi Gongbu area of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-26, has been confiscated from his house.
“Based on specific information that Shrestha’s house contained undisclosed wealth and gold and silver ornaments kept illegally, cash and gold and silver were recovered during a search,” he said. ’
