Taplejung. Two persons went missing in a landslide this morning at Maiwakhola rural municipality-6, Chyandanda.
According to Bijaya Prakash Banem, chairperson of the rural municipality, Lakpa Khangdu Sherpa and Nima Rinjen Sherpa are still missing in the village. A girl has been rescued safely from the landslide while another sustained minor injuries. He is undergoing treatment at a local health center. The landslide occurred due to incessant rain.
