Kathmandu. The Nepal Insurance Authority (NEA) has directed all insurance companies to operate their offices as usual from today. The Authority has urged the office to be brought into operation as usual as the difficult situation that emerged since the past few days has now returned to normal.

As the security bodies have relaxed curfew and prohibitory orders, all the insurance companies and their branch offices have been urged to operate fully from today.

It is stated in the notice that the Authority has requested to be physically present in the office to work. Earlier, the NEA had directed the authorities to ease and simplify the payment of insurance claim for the loss caused due to the agitation and demonstration on September 7 and 24.
