Kathmandu. The government has announced that those killed during the Zenji movement will be declared martyrs and Rs 10 lakh will be given to their families.

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has decided to provide free medical treatment to those injured during the agitation immediately after assuming the office.

The death toll during the protests has risen to 72. Among them were 59 protesters, 10 prisoners and three security personnel.

So far, 133 protesters and 57 security personnel are undergoing treatment.
