Kathmandu.  Finance Minister Rameshwor Khanal has inspected the CG Digital Park of Chaudhary Group in Satungal, which was destroyed by arson during the recent GenG movement. The structure was reduced to ashes due to arson by the agitators, which is one of the major industrial units of the Chaudhary Group.

Inspecting the damaged structures, Minister Khanal expressed commitment that the government would provide necessary support to the private sector which had suffered losses worth billions of rupees due to the agitation. “The need of the hour is to make the economy dynamic by rising above the recent devastation. The government is ready to support and facilitate the private sector. ”

During the Gen Z movement, Chaudhary Group’s business establishments, industries and private residences were vandalized and arson. CG Digital Park is the most affected among them.

CG brand electrical appliances were assembled from this park in Satungal and sent to the market. In addition, electrical appliances from international brands including LG were also assembled in the park. Although all structures have been destroyed due to the fire, CG and LG’s electrical equipment will not be disrupted in the supply chain, according to Chaudhary Group.

Minister Khanal’s visit has been taken as an attempt to boost the morale of the private sector.
