Kathmandu. The Airlines Operators Association of Nepal (AOAN) has said that the tickets are being sold at less than the maximum fare set by the government. The association said this in a press release today.
According to a meeting held on September 22 under the chairmanship of the Secretary of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, the senior officials of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal and the officials of the member airlines companies have decided that the airlines companies are providing tickets at lower prices than the maximum fare fixed by the government.
It has also been decided to make the tickets issued at a lower price. In view of the great festival of the Hindus, all the staff of the airlines have been working round the clock to take all the passengers to their destination.
According to the association, there is not much pressure of flights in the remote areas at present and the airfare in the area is also the same.
