Kathmandu. The influence of the monsoon wind is weak throughout the country at present while there is partial influence of local wind. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the weather will be generally cloudy in the hilly region and partly cloudy in the rest of the country towards the afternoon.

According to Meteorological Forecasting Division, light to moderate rain is likely to occur at some places of the hilly region of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces and at one or two places of the hilly and terai regions of the rest of the provinces. There are chances of heavy rainfall in one or two places of the hilly region of Koshi and Bagmati provinces.

Similarly, the weather will be generally cloudy in the hilly region of the country including in Koshi and Madhes and partly cloudy in the rest of the country tonight. According to Meteorological Forecasting Division, there is possibility of moderate rain in some places of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and at one or two places of the rest of the country.
