Kathmandu. Four pregnant women have been rescued by a Nepal Army helicopter.
Four pregnant women were rescued from Maijogmai-5, Sirsire of Ilam, Chhange of Sandakpur-1, Pul Bhanjyang of Panchthar and Bhotkhola-3 Hunggung of Sankhuwasabha as part of an air rescue programme launched by the Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens under the National Women Empowerment Project.
They have been taken to B&C Hospital in Jhapa and Koshi Provincial Hospital, Biratnagar.
