Kathmandu. According to the Armed Police Force, 60 people have died due to incessant rains since Friday night.

The deceased include 19 males, 26 females and 15 minors, APF Joint Spokesperson DSP Shailendra Thapa said. According to him, 13 people including 13 men, 14 women and 10 children died in Ilam alone.

Similarly, eight people including three men, four women and one child died in Panchthar. Two women and one minor died in Udayapur, two men in Khotang and one man in Sunsari.

Three people including a woman and two children died in Rautahat and ÷one each in Morang, Sindhuli and Mahottari. Similarly, a child died in Sindhupalchowk and two women were found dead in Kavrepanowk.
