Chitwan. The Narayangadh-Muglin road section and the Prithvi highway have resumed from 6:00 am today. Public and private vehicles were closed for the movement of public and private vehicles after 9:00 pm on Sunday citing high risk of landslides due to incessant rainfall on Friday and Saturday.

According to Superintendent of Police (SP) Govinda Puri, chief of the District Police Office, Chitwan, the vehicles which have been stranded have been heading towards their destinations with the resumption of traffic. The long and short route vehicles stopped at 14 holding centres in the district have started heading towards their destinations.
