Gaighat. Vehicular movement along the Katari Ghurmi road section of Siddhicharan road has been obstructed due to landslides triggered by incessant rains.

Vehicular movement along the road was halted after the landslide occurred on Friday evening. According to the Area Police Office, Katari, the landslide debris was removed with the joint efforts of the Department of Roads, police and locals.

Kamal Bajgain, chief of the Area Police Office, Katari, said that the vehicular movement between Okhaldhunga and Khotang via Katari Ghurmi via Mirchaiya of Siraha has been resumed since Monday. He said that the movement of vehicles on the route has been banned during the night.
