Dhakal, Ghale re-elected as general secretary of FINNO

Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Gokarna Prasad Dhakal has been elected Global President of the International Federation of Nepali Youth Entrepreneurs (FINE). Prior to this, Dhakal was the senior vice-president.

Representatives from 15 countries participated in the virtual convention of FINNE, which was established to connect young entrepreneurs from different parts of the world.

The convention elected Shamim Anwar as the senior vice-president, while Prakash Thapa, Dila Kharel, Purna Pokhariya, Pradip Neupane, Shambhu Kandel and Usha Gurung have been elected vice-presidents. Likewise, Dipen Ghale, a young entrepreneur from Hong Kong, has been re-elected as the General Secretary.

Dharma Adhikari has been elected secretary and Om Gyawali has been elected treasurer. The convention elected Ram Prasad Padhya the president of Africa region, Devendra Karki the president of Europe region, Bishnu Lal Shrestha the president of the Middle East region and Umesh Khadka the president of the Oceania region.

Likewise, Manisha Dangol Shrestha, MK Ramesh Poudel, Rajnish Bhattarai, Bikash Dahal, Amar Sapkota, Roshan Budhathoki, Nirajan Bhandari, Shiva Shrestha, Bhimlal Gaire, Surya Shrestha, Bibek Poudel and Dipesh Man Shakya have been elected as executive members. In the general convention, General Secretary Ghale presented the progress report with the fact that Finne’s global expansion was taking a rapid pace. FINCO has already expanded its branches in Bagmati and Gandaki districts in Nepal.

Dhakal pledged to forge a network of collaborations, mentorship, and opportunities among young Nepali entrepreneurs spread across the globe to empower Nepali entrepreneurs across the globe.
