Kathmandu. The commission of inquiry into the incidents during the Jenji movement has directed the government to submit details of the damage caused during the protests.

Issuing a notice today, the NHRC has sought details of the losses suffered during the Genji agitation on September 7 and 24 through email and post.

“We request the EC to send the factual details of damages caused to political parties, organizations and personal property in different parts of Kathmandu during the demonstration in the EC’s email as well as to provide evidences such as audio-visuals, photos and documents to corroborate the incident,” reads the statement. ’
