Kathmandu. On Monday, the second trading day of the week, the stock market rose by the highest points. On Sunday, the first trading day of the week, the stock market rose by double digits on Monday.
On Tuesday, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index increased by 44.25 points to close at 2,547.60 points. Likewise, the sensitive index has increased by 5.14 points, the float index has increased by 2.65 points and the sensitive float index has increased by 1.97 points.
Today, 13 sub-groups have turned green. Share prices of other sub-groups have increased the most. The share price of this sub-group has increased by more than 5 percent today. Similarly, the share prices of hydropower sub-groups, investment sub-groups and business sub-groups have increased by more than 2 percent.
On Monday, the share prices of 3 companies traded in the positive circuit while the share prices of 2 companies were traded in the positive circuit level. Shares of Nepal Micro Insurance, Nepal Reinsurance Company and Crest Micro Life Insurance have hit the positive circuit today.
Similarly, the shares of Emerging Nepal and NRN Infrastructure and Development have increased by 10 percent today. Shares of Corporate Development Bank (CDB) were the biggest losers on the day, falling by 5.26 percent.
On the basis of transaction amount, NRN Infrastructure and Development is in the highest position on this day. Shares worth Rs 31.91 crore were traded on the day. Similarly, shares worth Rs 26.5 crore of Nepal Reinsurance Company were traded today.
