Stock market in red, all sub-indices in the red except banks

Kathmandu. The stock market is in the red. The index, which measures the market, decreased by 18.40 points to sit at 2,487.17 points.

On Thursday, 76,43,653 units of shares of 311 companies worth Rs 3,27,54,864 were traded. In today’s trading, the sub-indices of the banking group increased while the sub-indices of all other groups declined. The sub-index of commercial banks increased by 0.35 points.

Likewise, the sub-indices of development bank decreased by 61.60 points, finance by 26.44, hotel by 31.07, hydropower by 32.76, life insurance by 101, production and processing by 52.52, microfinance by 34.67, non-life insurance by 56.11 and others by 50.61. On this day, the price of shares of 45 companies increased and the value of 197 companies decreased.

The investors of Himalayan Power Partner, Kalika Laghubitta, Infinity Laghubitta, Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance, Samaj Laghubitta, Unique Nepal Laghubitta, Samata Gritri Laghubitta and Upper Sange Hydropower Company earned today.
