Kathmandu. On the occasion of Kaag Tihar, artist Ramesh Dulal ‘Kage’ organized the ’22nd Crow Conference’ in front of the Narayanhiti Palace Museum in Kathmandu.
The program was co-organized by Top Rajdhani Rodhi and Green City Hospital, Basundhara. The crows gathered as soon as he heard the crow in the program that started at 6.45 am today.
Dulal mimics the sounds of 173 types of animals and birds, including crows. He also has the art of making the melodies of Madal, Shehnai, Sarangi, Piano, Drum Set, Murchunga and Guitar with the help of his mouth.
According to him, in the past years, he has been organizing ‘Crow Conference’ at Shanti Batika in Ratnapark, sometimes in the airport premises and sometimes with social messages. Dulal said, “It has been 22 years since we started holding the conference on the day of Crow Tihar. The crow is considered as the messenger of Yamaraj. This time, I have organized this conference with a purely cultural purpose. ’
This program of Dulal has been appreciated by the audience to protect the tradition of Kaag Tihar, which is celebrated in both religious and cultural sense, and to raise public awareness.
