Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Police have arrested 8 persons on the charge of inducementing them to influence their defeat in the second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) being held at Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground, Kirtipur.

Arrested. The arrestees include 31-year-old Raja Yadula of Pamur village in Andhra Pradesh, India, Mahesh Babu, 35, of Pamur village of Prakasam district, India, and Pandit Srinivasulu, 30, of Samakhusi, Kathmandu.

A police team from the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office has arrested him on the charge of participating in the second edition of the NPL Cricket Tournament and betting on the betting site BetacoolDotLive online.
