Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepal Federation of Savings and Credit (NEFSCUN) has completely shut down all the services provided by its offices.
After the proprietor of NEFSCUN Bir Bahadur Rawat (Bhote) locked the employees in a room and thrashed them, the employees have protested and closed all the offices and demanded the immediate suspension of Rawal. Director Rawal had beaten up the employees in Surkhet.
The employees have taken to the streets saying that the morale of the employees has been low. “In the context of the negative impact on the morale of all the employees due to the Surkhet incident, we would like to inform that all the services provided by all the offices of the union will be completely shut down until this incident is resolved. We will also announce additional agitation in a phased manner if the above demands are not addressed. The management apologizes for the inconvenience caused to the member organizations due to the obstruction in the service delivery of the association due to the above demands,” said a statement issued by all the employees of NEFSCUN.
